Sizing, the fit, customs and returns — the things people email us about.

Are the sizes US or UK?

US sizing, in inches. The waist and hip figures on the size chart are measured flat across the garment, not your body, so go by the chart rather than the number on your old jeans. A US 6 in another brand is not a reliable guide here — the chart is.

Are they high waisted or low rise?

High — they sit at your natural waist, well above the hip, and the leg flares from the knee down. If you normally wear low-rise jeans they will sit noticeably higher than you are used to.

Is the lace panel stretchy or stiff?

The denim has a little stretch, the lace panels do not. That is why sizing up is the safer call if you are between two — the panels hold their shape and do not give the way the denim does.

Will the lace hem drag on the floor?

At 5'4" and up they clear the ground in your usual size. The inseam runs 30.5 inches in XS to 32.5 in 2XL, so if you are shorter than that the hem will sit long over a platform boot — which is how they are cut to be worn. If you are taller, size up for the extra length.

Will the mesh catch on things?

The side panels are a fine embroidered mesh, so keep them away from velcro, exposed zips and rough bag straps. Wash inside out in a mesh bag and they hold up fine — the embroidery is what makes it delicate, not the fabric itself.

Can I return them if they don't fit?

Yes — 30 days from delivery, unworn with the tags still on, no restocking fee. If the pair arrives damaged or you get the wrong colour or size, we reship or refund at our cost. Email us and we send the return instructions the same day.

Do I pay customs or import duties?

Any duties or import taxes your country charges on delivery are the buyer's responsibility, and we cannot predict them — they depend on your country's threshold. Declared value is the price you paid, so most US orders under the de minimis limit arrive with nothing to pay.

Can I cancel or change my order?

Yes, if it has not shipped. Orders are packed within 48 hours, so email us as soon as you can with your order number — changing a colour, size or address is usually fine before it leaves the warehouse, and after that it becomes a return.
